According to information there are 65,000 state level  posts in combined state, 6,600 multi zonal posts, 1,43,000 zonal posts, 10,32,000 district cadre posts.  Over all there are 2.54.600 vacant posts.  GO number 132 was issued on 3rd June, 2013 for 11,250 public service commission posts, 11,624 police recruitment's and 10,685 posts in other government departments.

G.O number 183 was issued on July 2, 2013 for filling of 1.127 public service commission posts, 20,508 posts in education departments and 2,443 posts in other departments.  GO number 262 was issued on 30th September, 2013 for filling up of 287 public service commission posts, 1,462 posts in various departments and 1,276 district selection committees.  GOs were issued for a total number of 60,661 vacant posts.
