CSAB Jee Mains 2014 counseling for admissions all IITs, NITs, IITs and NITs counseling procedure through JEE Main,CSAB JEE Main 2014 counselling for admissions in all IITs, NITs :

JEE Main 2014 Counselling will begin from 1st July at csab.nic.in for admissions in IITs, NITs and Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions in India. JEE Main for academic year 2014-15 was conducted on April wherein 13.56 lakh candidates appeared. JEE Main results are declared on May 3.

The JEE Main 2014 Counselling will involve in following stages

Online Registration:

JEE Main 2014 Counselling Online Registration will be to follow the “New Registration” link and submit information such as Name, Address, JEE Main Application Number and Exam Roll Number and Date of Birth etc to get login ID.

Choice Filling:

Candidates have to carefully choose the college options as per their merit; candidates will be able to change the order of filled choices till the day of final locking. Once the choices have been locked, the students will not be able to change their order any more.

Provisional Seat Allocation:

Provisional Seat Allocation on the basis of choices filled by the candidates and their merit. If candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotment, he can go for another round of seat allotment to see allocation is according to his best choice or not.

Personal Reporting at the Reporting Centers and Document Verification

In case candidates are satisfied with the allotted to them, they have to report at the reporting centre and get their admission confirmed by remitting the remainder of admission fee and completing other admission modalities.

Fee Deposit and Acknowledging the Allotment:

After the document verification round, candidates have to submit the admission fee as per the amount mentioned in the admission brochure. The fee is to be submitted via DD as per the specifications mentioned therein.

JEE Main 2014 counselling schedule

Online registration, filling up the choices: July 1 to July 9 (5 pm)

Locking of choices: July 6 to July 9

First round of seat allotment: July 11 (personal reporting at any one of the reporting centers: July 11 to July 14)

Second round of seat allotment: July 16 (personal reporting at any one of the reporting centers: July 16 to 19)

Third round of seat allotment: July 21 (personal reporting at any one of the reporting centers: July 21 to July 23)

Surrendering of seat and to remain in consideration for further rounds of allotment: July 21 -23

Personal reporting at allotted college or institute by the candidates: July 21 to July 24

Modification of choices for 4th round: July 21 to July 24

Fourth round of seat allotment: July 26 (personal reporting at any one of the reporting centers: July 26 to July 29)

Internal sliding (within category only): July 31

Spot round: July 31 to August 2

Spot round of seat allotment: August 4

Physical reporting: 04-08-2014 to 07-08-2014

Closure of seat allotment: 07-08-2014
