TANCET 2014-15 Exam dates & Results : 

TamilNadu Common Entrance Test 2014 (TANCET - 2014) conducted by ANNA University. TANCET will be help for who are looking to join MCA/MBA/ME/M.Tech Degree programmers fo the year 2014-2015 offer at  University Departments, University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Centers of Anna University's, Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Art & Science Colleges and Self-Financing Colleges (Engineering, Art & Science Colleges including stand alone institutions) . in TamilNadu. Some Universities and self-Financing Engineering colleges may also opt to admit the candidates on the basic of marks obtained in TANCET 2014.

Other State candidates can appear for the entrance test, but the eligibility conditions will be fixed by the admitting authority/University.

Eligibility for TANCET :  

Application form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one application. The candidates have to pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu on production of a copy of permanent community certificate in card format) as entrance test fee for any one of the programmers either MCA/MBA/ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan.

If the candidates desires to appear for more then one programme, for every additional, programme, he/she has to pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu Government).

Hall tickets will be issued to the candidates who come in person to the following coordinating centres with a copy of 10th Std. mark sheet and 12st Std. mark sheet (or 3 years diploma certificate) and cash oe Demand Draft *(A Single Demand Draft is sufficient for one or more programme) for the required amount towards entrance test fee.

Examination Dates :

• MCA  22-03-2014 (Saturday)  10 am to 12 pm
• MBA 22-03-2014 (Saturday) 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm
• ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan  23-03-2014 (Saturday)  10 am to 12 pm

Registration dates for TANCET 2014 : 

• Commencement of Registration in Person/ Registration through Internet  01-02-2014
• Last date for Registration in person at coordinating centres and registration through internet  18-02-2014
• Last date for Registration in person at Chennai centre and receipt of applications registered through internet  20-02-2014

Note : registration can be made at all the centers on all days, between 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Except on Sundays and Public Holidays.
